Allot HomeSecure
Setup
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to your modem,
and the other end to the blue internet jack on your
supplied Allot HomeSecure router, as shown in the
illustration below.
Network Connection
Connect the mobile device where you will install the
Test Flight app to the “AllotHomeSecure” Wi-Fi network.
The password is: 1q2w3e4R!

As IoT and connected devices proliferate, home networks become the foundation of the connected home.
Yet they are increasingly more dicult to manage, and attacks are much more common.
Allot HomeSecure guarantees a simple, reliable and secure network for the connected home. This is
achieved through a small firmware agent, installed on the home router, that provides unprecedented visibility
into the network and blocks external and internal attacks. Using Machine Learning technology and network
visibility, HomeSecure identifies all devices in your home network and applies a standard security policy for
each device.

iPhone Installation
The HomeSecure app is available to download from Test Flight, as a closed release available only for pre-approved testers.
To download the app:
A. Download the Test Flight app: https://itunes.apple com/us/app/testflight/id899247664
B. Provide your Apple ID email address to the Allot HomeSecure team
C. Once your email address is added to the testers list, you should receive an email invite with instructions on how to
download the app through Test Flight.
Android Installation
The HomeSecure app is available to
download from Google Play,
as a closed release available only
for pre-approved testers.
To download the app:
A. Provide your Google account email
address to the Allot HomeSecure
team. Make sure you provide the
same email address used to login
to the Play Store app.
B. Once your email address is added
to the testers list, browse to the
following link on your mobile
device: https://play.google.com/
apps/testing/com.netonomy.m8
C. Click the “BECOME A TESTER”
button.
D. Download the app using the link
marked with a red arrow on the
following screenshot

Logging In
After downloading the application, sign in
A. Click on “Use your email address” .
B. Click on “Sign In”.
C. Sign in using the provided user name and password.
All set
Your app is now ready, and all the devices connected to your home network
will automatically appear on the “devices” tab.

Home
Open the Allot HomeSecure appThe Home screen appears. The
Home screen shows the Security Score of your network and some
more basic information. The security score of your network is
measured as "Safe", "Moderate" or "In danger", the calculation
is based on several factors involving your home network. Using
the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, you can also seenew
devices, new messages and new blocked threats.
Security
In the security tab you can see the security threats that
Allot HomeSecure has blocked for each device.
9Usage History
Select a device to check the network usage history
of that device and the main applications/websites
accessed by the device.

10 Parental Control
After selecting the device and clicking the “Control” tab at the bottom
menu, you can set parental control policy for the device. You can also
control Website categories to be accessed/blocked, set Internet usage
time or completely block the device from accessing the Internet.
11 Security
After selecting the device and clicking the “Security” tab in the bottom
menu, you can view the security status of the device, whether an
Antivirus is installed or if Allot HomeSecure finds vulnerabilities related
to the device.

Chatbot
The app is designed to help you solve network problems in addition to
providing a user-friendly interface for communication.
Warnings and Alerts
When protected by Allot HomeSecure, attempts to browse a malicious Website are blocked, the user is forwarded to an
alert page and a notification is sent to the Allot HomeSecure app. The event is logged on the “security” tab.
