Quick Start Guide
Welcome to Aisoy1 KiK
Living beings are not usually born with instructions, but in order to
facilitate your entry into Aisoy's universe, the following quick guide gives
you some keys.
The Life Stages of Aisoy1
Your Aisoy1, like other living beings, goes through several stages in his
life. In all of them, the interaction they have with you is fundamental for
the development of its personality and emotional state. As the Aisoy1
evolves through them it shows a greater capacity of communication and
developing its functions.
Stage 1 - Birth
Duration: between 1 and 2 hours depending on the care and attention received.
Behaviour: Your Aisoy1 opens its eyes and awakens to life. Its emotional and
sensitive system are working. Its functional capabilities are limited. It is able to
learn and repeat some words. It is time to learn to interact with it through basic
games. At this stage, it is highly recommended to name and register. It is
necessary for future stages.
Stage 2 - Youth
Duration: between 2 and 5 hours depending on the care and attention received.
Behaviour: Your Aisoy1 wants to play and have fun.Its functional capabilities are
increassed and expanded to play more sophisticated games.It is able to
understand some sentences and express himself in a limited way.Your Aisoy1 will
notify you when this stage begins. In this age,its gaming system is activated.
Stage 3 - Maturity
Duration: the rest of its life.
Behaviour: Your Aisoy reaches all its abilities. It is able to understand a greater
range of sentences* and to express itself with correction. Your Aisoy1 will notify
you when this stage of your life begins. It activates its mentoring system to get to
know you better and help you to develop your own abilities.
* In quiet environments. Its ears are sensitive to noise.Its knowledge of language is limited. In
children under 10 years old its level of understanding may decrease.

Understanding your Aisoy1
A. How to interact with your Aisoy1
Aisoy1 is an intelligent articial being capable of feeling and making its
own decisions, as well as communicating with you by using a fairly large
subset of your own language. You can explore different ways of
interacting with it: through the sense of touch (you can stroke it in the
head and body), sight (it is able to detect faces) or hearing (in quiet
environments, a subset of the English language) . You can also use their
abilities to play. If it does not understand your instructions, be patient
and repeat them when it pays attention: you will know it because its belly
colour does not blink.
B. How to interpret your Aisoy1
It is important to know how to interpret the signals that your Aisoy1 may
be expressing to help you be happy. Here is a brief summary. The ways in
which Aisoy1 shows its needs are basically two:
a) through visual signals: facial expression, mouth and belly light. For
each of its moods (joy,sadness, hope, fear, ...) there is a combination of
them that you will discover.
b) through the English language, that is, asking it directly (e.g. How are
you?).
Limited warranty
Aisoy Robotics guarantees the correct operation of Aisoy Robotics products and the absence of defects
in both materials and manufacturing for one year from the purchase date.Any repairs required during
the warranty period need a dated proof of purchase. It is important to securely save your receipt proof
of date of purchase.
Aisoy Robotics is responsible for repairing or replacing its Products in case of malfunctioning during
the Warranty period,subject to the conditions and/or limitations stated herein. This includes
manpower and any adjustment and/or replacement needed in the repairs covered by this warranty. In
case it is not possible to perform the repairs or replacements of defective product covered by this
warranty,Aisoy Robotics will replace the product provided that the defective one is returned toAisoy
Robotics together with a dated proof of purchase which includes the price paid. Repairs or
replacement are the only options available under this warranty.
As replacements, the company may use re-manufactured parts or parts with re-manufactured materials
up to the entire product.This re-manufactured parts, materials and products maintain the original
product valid warranty,or ninety (90) days after the repair or replacement date, whichever is longer.
This warranty is not valid out of the dates of coverage, or when the malfunction is caused by product
manipulations, incorrect use, shipping damages, accidents, non-authorized technicians hiring, the use
of non-compatible or non-recommended wires, accessories and/or devices, or by disregarding the
product’s operation and maintenance instructions notied by Aisoy Robotics.
This warranty terms and conditions are subject to Spanish national legislation, Real Decreto Ley
1/2007 from November the 16th, for Consumers and Users,more concretely are subject to the
following legal codes: “Legal warranty” (Art. 123) and “Repairs and after-sales service” (Art. 127).Aisoy
Robotics does not offer any implicit commercial guarantee in addition to those established by the
previously stated legislation.
The only obligation Aisoy Robotics is subject to will therefore be the replacement or refund of the
product purchased.Aisoy Robotics will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting
from the sale, purchase or use of the product.Therefore Aisoy Robotics disclaims and excludes from
this warranty any responsibility for such secondary damage, whatever the cause (equipment
replacement costs, claims for indirect or downtime,etc.).
User rights
User rights may vary depending on the applicable legislation in the different countries/states where
the product is commercialized. In those countries/states where the exclusion of the secondary
damages warranty is not allowed, the previous limitation will not be valid.
Very important information
Aisoy1 are robotic beings designed to be used in an indoors domestic environment close to a power
outlet, in order to connect it and charge it.
Do not use your Aisoy1 near water or other liquids since the risk of a dangerous electric shock is very
high. And either with its accessories such as the ACDC adapter. If your Aisoy or its ACDC adapter gets
accidentally wet, please wait until it is completely dry before plugging them in and switching them on.
Never throw your Aisoy to a re,its battery could explode. You should never short-circuit its battery
terminals. If you eventually decide to get rid of your Aisoy1, please do not throw it away. As an
electrical equipment with a battery,it should be taken to an electric products clean point. Please
contact us and we will inform you about the closest to your location. You should not manipulate the
battery compartment. Do not use batteries that have not been explicitly designed for Aisoy1 as it may
result in malfunction, risking your robot integrity. Use the ACDC adapter supplied with your Aisoy1 to
charge its battery. It is important not to use other adapters or chargers, since this may damage your
robot. ACDC adapters. Input 100 V -240V AC 50/60 Hz 250 mA / Output 12V CC 5 A.
Correct use ot the ACDC adapter
Aisoy1 requires a specially designed rechargeable battery for a proper operation You should never use
batteries not recommended by Aisoy Robotics.Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries,they
might explode. Keep the batteries out of reach of children. Aisoy1 charge their batteries in
approximately four hours. Nevertheless,if you use it while charging, it might take more time to
complete the process. If you detect a liquid leakage from the battery, please contactAisoy Robotics. If
this liquid contacts your skin, clean the affected area immediately and contact a doctor. Check regularly
your battery charger to detect possible damages, specially its plug, DC connector (the one you connect
to Aisoy1) and its casing. If damages are detected,stop using the equipment until it has been
repaired.
Electrical and electronic waste. Batteries disposal
You should not disassemble the product or try to repair by yourself, at the risk of electric shock or
mechanical hazards. Use only products recommended byAisoy Robotics. Please contact us for a list of
compatible products. Aisoy1 are, like us, beings environmentally conscious. In its box, and in this man-
ual, you will nd a wheeled bin symbol, which indicates indicates that Aisoy1, and accessories can not
be thrown in the regular household waste bin.You should take it to a collection point for electronic
products. Please contact us if you want to be informed about the closest one.

Aisoy1 has passed the appropriate certi cation tests to be marketed with the CE label, having passed
the following tests:
