CLEVER CONTROL CHARACTERISTICS
CLEVER,the new advanced total control, leads the new generation in air curtains management:
Maximum control + maximum energy saving.
Clever automatically adapts the functioning of the air curtain to the entrance climatic conditions inorder to keep
the comfort and energy saving.
Simple Installation Plug & Play. Factory adjusted to just switch on and run.
Main Advantages:
INTELLIGENT REGULATION
Depending on door state, on how often the door is open/closed, the internal/outside temperature or discharge
temperature, Cleveroptimizes the ventilationand heating to create an efficient barrier for an optimal and
effective climate separation. With manual or automatic functioning, it works with many differentprograms
depending on heating type (water, electrical, heat pump or unheated)and installed temperature sensors.
Clever Control has lots of extra functions to fulfil all client needs.
USER FRIENDLY
Multilanguageand easy icons for fullyunderstanding. Main state screen indicatesof the most important
settingsincluding: Ventilation speed, heating, temperatures, door state, working mode andprogram, filter state,
day/hour, timer, etc.
Different menu configurations depending onwho is managing the equipment:
•“User” simplified mode
•“Basic”, with main parameters
•“Advanced” for professionals.
ENERGY SAVING
Clever Control has 3 gradesof comfort and energy efficiency which can be adjusted in all manual and
automatic programs. “Eco” mode uses the less energypossible without compromising too muchthe comfort,
while “Comfort” spends more ventilation/heating to maintain or achieve quicker the set temperature. As
indicates, “Medium” it's in between both modes.
ADAPTIVE DOOR DELAY
When thedoor closes, theair curtain remainsworking at dooropen conditions for certain time to be ready if it's
open again. The power of the unit during this delay time is divided in two strength stages, where the first is
strongerthan the second one in order tosave energy. There are two types: “Fixed” where you can select the
duration of the delay, or “Flexible” which adapts automatically the time depending on how often the door is
opened.
FILTER ALARM
Indicates when filter needs replacing/cleaning. Clever offers 2 options: By “Timer”of functioning hours or by
“Pressure Sensor” switch. Filtersign will change color depending on the state from green to orange and finally
red combined with a flashing message on the screen.
MULTI-EQUIPMENT
Clever PCB can manage different types of units: Air curtains, fan heater, AHU, etc. Once programmed, it can
work alone without any TFTcontrol. Clever controller display shows the functioning and is used to program
each device. One TFTcan manage up to255 different units, eachone with its ownprogram. The system
detects and shows automatically howmany unitsare connected. End usercan customize thename of each
equipment.

CLEVER CONTROL CHARACTERISTICS
TIMER / CALENDAR
Once programmed, the air curtain starts and turns off according to the client needs.Calendar functionto turn
ON/OFF automatically the unit dependingon each different day of the week or predefined groupsof days. User
can select between Dayor Night modes with 2 differentSet temperatures in order to save energy.
BMS CONNECTION
Clever uses Modbus RTU protocol to communicate between the PCB and TFT control and it can be connected
directly to a Modbus RTU BMS system. Available in the future Modbus Ethernet with extra module. The Clever
PCB has several digital IN/OUT and analogical IN/OUT (0-10V) tocontrol/monitory directly the unit (ON/OFF,
fan speed, heating, temperature set, alarms, etc...).
PC / ANDROID APP
Any Windows PC or Android (IOS in the future) devicecan manage the aircurtain with thesame functions as
the Clever TFT control. If an IP is assigned, the unit can be externally fully controlled thought internet. Extra
WiFi module required for Android.
FULLY PROGRAMABLE
In Advanced configurationmode, user can set the minimum/maximumof many parameters, like ventilation
speed or heating whendoor is open/closed, set the temperatures forday/nightand air outlet, the door delay,
etc.
Advanced functions:
•Intelligent proactive regulation
•Manual / Automatic Functioning
•Energy saving modes: Eco,Medium and Comfort

INTELLIGENT PCB
If more than one PCB connected in serialusing Modbus protocol, you should turn ON the 3 switches inside the
CleverControl anduse 3 jumpers at CN3,CN6 and CN7 according to the wiringdiagram.
All Digital and Analogical IN/OUT are defined bydefaultas indicatedin the wiring diagram. Installercan modify
and select different functions dependingon their needs.
The first time you connect the Clever, theequipment will check how many temperature sensors are connected
in order to select the program automatically.
The CleverControl TFT hasan in buildtemperature sensor usedas inside temperature. If you want an
external insidetemperature sensor(differentplace than the controller) you should install it at TS3 (once done,
TS3 has priority tothe CleverControl TFT)
