Q: How to connect Traveler 3G to 3G network?
A:
Please refer the following to configure Traveler 3G:
1. The Traveler 3G can be manage remotely by a PC through either the wire or
wireless network.
It is recommended to configure the router through the Ethernet port for the first
time setup.
The efault IP a ress of the Traveler 3G is 192.168.1.1 with a subnet mask of
255.255.255.0.
This means the IP a ress of the PC shoul be in the range of 192.168.1.2 to
192.168.1.254.
2. Please power on Traveler 3G an connect PC to Traveler 3G by cable. (Please
switch the Ethernet port to LAN)
3. Please open your browser an type in the Traveler 3G’s IP a ress( efault IP is
192.168.1.1) into the web browser’s a ress fiel .
4. Please input the user name an passwor . The efault user name is “a min” an
efault passwor is “airlive”.
5.Please get into the 3G/3.5G setting page.
6. Please configure the 3G/3.5G setting.
PIN co e: Please enter the Pin Co e for your SIM car .
APN: Please enter the APN for your PC car .(Default is “internet”)
Dial-Number: This fiel shoul not be altere except when require by your
service provi er. (Default is *99#)
If you are not sure, please contact with your ISP about the 3G/3.5G setting.
7. Please click apply to save the setting, an reboot Traveler 3G to make the setting
effective.
