Quick Guide
Each time you press the button , it will bring you to
one of its nine different functions, including
Recordings, Folder, EBook, Pictures, Music, Video,
Tools, Set and Calendar. Click ▲/▼/ / to choose
the function. Click to access to its function.

Power On and Off
1. Power On: Slide the power switch to“On”position.
If the switch already at “On” position, just press the
play button for 3 seconds.
2. Power Off:
1) Slide the power switch to “Off” position.
2) Press play button for 3 seconds when the switch
at “On” position.
Note:
1) Please put the power button to “Off” position if
you won’t use it for a long time.
2) If you cannot switch on the recorder, please make
sure the slider switch is on the right side.
Charging the Recorder
1) Use only a 5V/500mAh charger for charging.
2) Charge by computer
Plug one end of the micro USB cable into the USB
port of a computer, the other end to the port on
your device. While it is fully charged, disconnect the
cable from your device by pulling it straight outward.
Lock Screen
Slide the button on the right(from down to up) to lock
the screen. Repeat to unlock.
Volume Adjustment
When it ’ s on audio/video playing interface, click or
hold button ▲/▼ to increase/decrease the volume.

Return button
Always click button to go back, hold button M to
back to main interface(unavailable while it is
recording).
Recordings
Whenever interfaces, click button to start recording
after it is powered on. The icon after letter R and L is
beating when it starts recording.
Click button to stop or resume recording.
Click button to save the recording and go to the
audio playing interface automatically, click button
to play.
Click / to go to the previous/next recording.
The icon in the left corner of the screen while
recording:
Find“Recordings”in the main interface, click button
to access to its function. The related list will show as
below:
Recordings library: View the recordings saved in
folder A/B/C/D and the card folder;
Storage(available with Micro SD card inserted):
choose to store in the recorder or the card;
Record Format: Select a format between MP3 and
WAV;
set rec bitrate: Select from 512/768/1024/1536kbps

for WAV format; 32/64/128kbps for MP3 format;
Input gain set: Select class from 0-7(the higher level
you choose, the wider the recording distance it will
be, meanwhile, the bigger noise it will have. So it is
suggested to use lower level when the environment
is quiet and short in distance);
Track AVR mode: Choose Normal/AVR mode;
Note: When choose AVR mode, and
click REC
button to start recording,
the recorder will start
recording automatically if sound is detected with
blue indication light on and stop recording when no
sound detected;
VC sensitivity: Choose from 1-4 levels;
Recording monitor: Choose ON/OFF for the monitor.
Record and listen what you hear simultaneously:
Choose “ON”, then insert the earphone, click REC
button to start recording, you will hear the
recordings from the earphone at the same time;
choose “OFF” to turn it off.
monitor volume: Choose from 1-5;
Auto record:
1) Choose “Record on/off” to start/stop record
automatically;
2) “start time” to set the beginning time to record;
3) “end time” to set the ending time to record;
4) “Auto record cycle”to set the record frequency
for Once/Daily.
Note: Set the time of this recorder according to the
local time before you start auto record. This function is

available only when the power slider is on the right
side.
Indicator: Choose to turn ON/OFF the blue indicator
on the upper corner of the recorder while recording.
Note: Make sure the battery is enough before
recording.
REC subsection: Cut the recording into 2 parts by the
preset time range.
Folders for Recordings
There are 4 folders(A/B/C/D) available to store the
recordings. Before recording, click the folder button to
choose from folder A/B/C/D, the last folder you see will
be the folder for storing the recording. The recording
will be placed in folder A in default. Find the recording
under “Recordings” >”Recordings library”.
Music
Select “ Music ” on main menu, click button to
access to its function. The related list will show as
below:
All songs: all of the songs in the recorder and Micro
SD card will be listed here;
Create Playlist:
Playlists: all of the playlists created will be listed
here(up to 50 playlists can be created);
Genres/Artists/Albums: all of the songs will be listed
by genres/artists/album;
Last Played: start playing the music from you left off

last time when you turn on the recorder;
Local folder: all of the songs in the recorder will be
listed here;
Card folder: all of the songs in the Micro SD card
will be listed here.
Rewind/ Fast Forward
When it ’ s on recording and music/video playing
interface:
Hold the button / for fast backward/forward;
Click button / to the previous/next song or
video;
Click button to play or pause;
Click to back to the previous menu.
Submenu
While it’s on music playing interface, click button ▲
to access to the submenu. The related list will show,
including “Play mode”, “Sound settings”, “Add to
playlist” and “Remove from playlist”.
1. Play mode
There will be 3 options, including Repeat, Shuffle,
Repeat settings.
Click button M >“Play mode”>“Repeat settings”>
“Replay times”: Set the replay times from 1 to 10(5
times in default).
Click button M >“Play mode”>“Repeat settings”>
“Replay intervals”: Set the replay interval for 1 to 10
(seconds).

2. Sound settings
Click button M >“Sound settings”>“Equalizer”>“Off”,
“Rock”, “Jazz” etc. Choose from different music
styles.
Click button M >“Sound settings”>“Variable Speed
Playback ” to adjust speed from -8(Slowest) to
+8(Fastest). Set the playing speed as you need.
3. Playlists
Click button M >“Add to playlist”/“Remove from
playlist”. Select according to your need.
4. Delete
1) Delete One: when music is playing, pause or being
stopped, hold button A-B and select yes with
button ▲ / ▼ , confirm with button to delete
one.
2) Delete All: when music is being stopped, click the
menu button and choose with button ▲ / ▼ to
delete one or delete all, confirm with button or
click button to cancel.
5. Repeat settings(only available when the music is
playing)
1) Repeat mode(A-B): Choose the option Replay
mode, click button A-B to confirm the starting time
A when B is flashing.
2) Then click the A-B button again to set the ending
time B. The icon for A-B indication will appear on
the screen. The audio from time A to B will be
repeated automatically.
3) Click A-B button again to back to normal playing.

Play Video
When it’s on video playing interface:
Hold the button / for fast backward/forward;
Click button / to the previous/next song or
video;
Click button to play or pause;
Click button M to access to the submenu, and set
the Repeat/Delete video/Create Playlist;
Click to back to the previous menu; hold button M
to back to main interface.
Note:
1) This recorder can only support the video format in
AMV(160*128).
2) Please note that the submenu is different for music
and video.
E book
Please kindly note the device only can recognize the
article in “txt.” format.
Click the button to enter;
Click button / to turn the page up and down;
While on text playing interface, click the button to
play automatically, click again to back to normal
playing;
Click button M and choose Playsetting to set the
interval, add or delete ebook/bookmark;
Click button to return.
