General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this camping cot (referred to below
only as the “cot”). It contains important information about set-up
and handling.
Before using the cot, read the user manual carefully. This
particularly applies for the safety notes. Failure to heed this user manual may
result in severe injury or damage to the cot.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the cot on to third parties,
please be absolutely sure to include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this instruction manual, on
the cot, or on the packaging.
WARNING!
This signal symbol/word designates a
hazard with a moderate degree of risk
which may lead to death or severe injury if
not avoided.
CAUTION!
This signal symbol/word designates a low-
risk hazard which may result in minor or
moderate injury if not avoided.
NOTICE! This signal word warns against potential
damages to property.
Do not sit on the front foot area of the cot.

Proper use
The cot is designed exclusively as a sleeping and resting place for camping and
leisure activities. The maximum total load may not exceed 220 lbs (100kg). The
cot is only intended for private use and not suitable for commercial purposes.
Only use the cot as described in this instruction manual. Any other use is
deemed improper and may result in damage to property or even personal
injury. The cot is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage caused by
improper or incorrect use.
Safety instructions
WARNING!
Danger of suffocation!
If children play with the packaging material and slip the plastic
bags of the packaging or the storage bag over their head, they
may suffocate.
− Keep the packaging material as well as the storage bag
away from children.
− Never leave the storage bag lying around unattended.
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Improper set-up and use of the cot may result in injury.
− Set the cot up on a level and nonskid surface.
− Do not stand or jump on the cot. The cot can tip over easily.
− Make sure that children do not play with or on the cot.
− The cot may only be used by one person at a time.
− Do not exceed the cot’s load bearing capacity of 220 lbs
(100 kg).
− Risk of tipping: Do not sit on the front foot area of the cot.

Fire hazard!
The cover of the cot consists of a flammable material. If the cot is
too close to an intense heat source (e.g. a camp fire), the cover
could melt or burn.
− Keep the cot away from fire and other heat sources.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the cot may damage it.
− Shield the cot from weathering effects such as rain, direct
exposure to sun or dampness.

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointy objects, you may quickly damage
the cot.
− Be very careful when opening.
1. Take the cot out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see Fig.A).
3. Check whether the cot 2or the individual parts exhibit damages. If this
is the case, do not use the cot. Contact the manufacturer at the service
address specified on the warranty card.

Setting up the cot
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Improper set-up and use of the cot may result in injury.
− When setting up the cot, make sure not to squash your
fingers.
1. Position the cot 2upright in front of you and open the closure 3(see
Fig.B).
2. Unfold the cot by pressing on the center of the cot from above (see Fig.C).
3. Ensure that the cot is completely flat and taut (see Fig.D).
You have successfully set up the cot and can now begin using it.
Disassembling the cot
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Improper disassembly and use of the cot may result in injury.
− When taking the cot apart, make sure not to squash your
fingers.
− Reverse the steps described in the chapter “Setting up the cot” to
disassemble the cot.
Cleaning
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the cot may damage it.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as

knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the
surfaces.
1. Clean the cot 2with a dry cloth. In case of persistent dirt, use a slightly
wet cloth and perhaps a mild detergent.
2. Dry the cot off with a dry cloth.
Storage
All parts must be completely dry before being stored.
− Clean and dry the cot 2thoroughly before storing it.
− Store all parts of the cot in the storage bag 1included in the delivery.
− Always store the cot in a dry, frost-free environment inaccessible to children
and not exposed to direct sunlight.
