Introduction: Congratulations on your purchase of the ADJ FS3000LED! This device is a powerful
and feature-packed follow spot powered by a 300W white C.O.B. (Chip On Board) LED with a color
temperature of 6000K. The FS3000LED has been designed to perform reliably for years when the
guidelines in this booklet are followed. Please read and understand the instructions in this manual
carefully and thoroughly before attempting to operate this device. These instructions contain impor-
tant information regarding safety during use and maintenance.

FS3000LED Warranty Registration
The FS3000LED carries a 2 year limited warranty. Please fill out the enclosed warranty card to vali-
date your purchase. All returned service items,whether under warranty or not, must be freight pre-
paid and accompanied by a return authorization (R.A.) number. The R.A. number must be clearly written
on the outside of the return package. A brief description of the problem as well as the R.A. number
must also be written down on a piece of paper included in the shipping carton. If the unit is under
warranty, you must provide a copy of your proof of purchase invoice. You may obtain anR.A. number
by contacting our customer support team. All packages returned to the service department not dis-
playing anR.A. number on the outside of the package will be returned to the shipper.

FS3000LED Safety Guidelines
For Your Own Personal Safety, Please Read and Understand This Manual Completely Before
You Attempt To Install Or Operate This Unit!
• Be sure to save the packing carton in the unlikely event the device may have to be returned for
service
• Do not spill water or other liquids into or on to the device
• Be sure that the local power outlet matches the required voltage for the device
• Do not open up the device under any conditions. There are no user serviceable parts inside
• Disconnect the device’s main power when left unused for long periods of time
• Never connect this device to a dimmer pack
• Do not attempt to operate this device if it has been damaged in any way
• Never operate this device with the cover removed
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock or re, do not expose this device to rain or moisture
• Do not attempt to operate this device if the power cord has been frayed or broken. Do not attempt
to remove or break o the ground prong from the electrical cord. This prong is used to reduce the
risk of electrical shock and re in case of an internal short
• Disconnect from main power before making any type of connection
• Never block the ventilation holes. Always be sure to mount this device in an area that will allow
proper ventilation. Allow about 6” (15cm) between this device and a wall
• This unit is intended for indoor use only. Use of this product outdoors voids all warranties
• Always mount this unit in a safe and stable matter
• Please route your power cord out of the way of foot trac. Power cords should be routed so they
are not likely to be walked on, or pinched by items placed upon or against them
• Ambient operating temperature ranges is from 14°F to 113°F (-10°C to 45°C). Do not operate
this device when ambient temperature falls outside of this range!
• Keep ammable materials away from this xture!

• The device should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
A. The power-supply cord or the plug has been damaged.

Keep drive a minimum of 5.0 feet (1.5m) away from ammable material and/or pyrotechnics.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
A qualied electrician should be used for all electrical connections and/or installations.
DO NOT INSTALL THE DEVICE IF YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO SO!
The unit MUST be installed following all local, national, and country commercial electrical and con-
struction codes and regulations.
Before installing or mounting any device, a professional equipment installer MUST be consulted to
determine whether the mounting structure or surface is properly certied to safely support the com-
bined weight of the xture, clamps, cables, and accessories.
Overhead xture installations must always be secured with a secondary safety attachment, such as
an appropriately rated safety cable that meets all local, national, and country codes and regulations.
Ambient operating temperature range is from 14°F to 113°F (-10°C to 45°C). Do not operate this
device when ambient temperature falls outside this range.
This xture should be installed in areas outside walking paths, seating areas, or away from areas
where unauthorized personnel might be able to reach the device by hand.
NEVER stand directly below the xture when rigging, removing, or servicing.
Allow approximately 15 minutes for the xture to cool down before servicing.

CLAMP INSTALLATION
This xture features a mounting clamp attachment point, which is located on the mounting yoke,
as well as a safety cable rigging point, located near the display screen (see the illustration below).
When mounting the xture to a truss or any other suspended or overhead installation, be sure to
secure an appropriately rated clamp (not included) to the clamp attachment point and attach a
separate SAFETY CABLE of the appropriate safety rating to the safety cable rigging point.

RIGGING
Overhead rigging requires extensive experience, including but not limited to: calculating working
load limits, understanding the installation material being used, and periodic safety inspection of all
installation material and the xture itself. If you lack these qualications, do not attempt to perform
the installation yourself. Improper installation can result in bodily injury.

In order to install and use the included Gobo Holder, follow the directions shown below:
2. Unscrew the retainer screw from the Gobo Holder.
3. Open up the Gobo Holder. Slide the Glass Gobo between the two halves of the Gobo Holder,
making sure that the Glass Gobo has been placed securely in its cutout.
4. Close the Gobo Holder. Replace and tighten the retainer screw.
1. Remove the Gobo Holder from its slot. The Gobo Holder handle is the ring-shaped item located
just aft of the Iris Adjustment lever.
5. Re-insert the Gobo Holder back into its slot on the xture. Make sure that the retainer screw on
the Gobo Holder is facing backwards (towards the control screen).
