Operation
NB! The trimmer has a two-hand protective shut-down which prevents an
unintended start.
Replacing the spool kits.
1. Disconnect the mains plug.
2. Press together the both locking devices (18) at the spool cover (11) and remove.
3. Remove the thread spool (12) from the spool cover, as well as dirt and grass.
4. Thread the both cutting thread ends (14) of the new thread spool through the
holes (19) of the spool cover provided for this (each through one hole).
5. Firmly place the thread spool in the spool cover, making sure that the cutting
threads are not caught, and pull them approx. 9 cm out of the spool.
6. Place the spool cover with spool kits on the spring (13) and press it firmly down
until the locking devices (18) of the spool cover (11) securely click into place.
Tap & Go Cutting system:
The lawn trimmer comes complete with a full nylon line. The line wears down during work
and to feed in new line, press the head of the spool firmly against the ground while the
machine is running. The line will automatically be released by the centrifugal force and the
line will be cut to the right length by the blade on the line cover.

Fitting protective shield (Fig.B)
Fasten the protective shield (8) to the cutting head (3) using the screws (15). Install the
protective hood as shown in fig. B.
Assembling the grass trimmer (Fig.C)
1. Insert the upper trimmer part (2) into the lower trimmer part (1) until it clicks into
place. Please pay attention to the correct insert direction.
2. Locate screws and firmly screw into position.
Mains connection
Compare the voltage given on the machine model plate e.g. 120 V with the mains voltage
and connect the trimmer to the relevant and properly earthed plug.
Note: Use connecting or extension cables up to a length of 25 m, featuring a core cross
section of at least 1.5 mm².
Preparing the trimmer for use
Note: To avoid detaching power cable always check that it is attached firmly to cable hook
(7), before using trimmer.
1. Make a loop with the power cable and push it through the square hole under the
grip of the trigger (6).
2. Place the end of the loop round cable hook and ensure it is pulled firmly enough to
prevent it coming loose while operating the trimmer.
Operating the trimmer
1. Switch on the trimmer by pressing the On/Off trigger (6). Switch off by releasing.
2. If the nylon line is too long, run the trimmer for a few seconds without touching the
work area, allowing the trimmer to cut the line to the correct length.
3. If the nylon line is too short: See the instructions about the Tap-and-go system.
4. Do not overload the trimmer: Cut small sections, keeping the trimmer at high speed.
5. Use the edge of the guard as a guide when cutting near fences, walls, etc.
Troubleshooting
1. If the trimmer will not operate, check plug and power connections.
2. If the trimmer is not cutting properly check the nylon line length.
3. If necessary, lengthen or replace line (see instructions).
4. Do not dismantle the trimmer: There are no user serviceable parts inside.
5. If a fault is suspected return the trimmer to an authorized dealer for repair.
Disposal
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of together with
household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your
local authority or retailer for recycling advice.

Betjening
NB! Trimmeren er udstyret med to kontakter for at forhindre uønsket start.
Udskiftning af spolesæt.
1. Tag netstikket ud.
2. Klem begge låsepaler (18) på spoledækslet (11) sammen, og fjern det.
3. Tag snørespolen (12) ud af spoledækslet, og fjern også snavs og græs.
4. Før de to ender (14) af den nye snørespole gennem de dertil beregnede huller (19)
på spoledækslet (hver gennem ét hul).
5. Sæt snørespolen godt fast i spoledækslet, og sørg for at trimmesnørerne ikke
kommer i klemme, og træk den ca. 9 cm ud af spolen.
6. Anbring spoledækslet med spolesættene på fjederen (13) og tryk fast nedad, indtil
låsepalerne (18) på spoledækslet (11) går i indgreb.
Tap & Go-skæresystem:
Græstrimmeren leveres komplet med nylonsnøre. Snøren bliver slidt under arbejdet. For at
få mere snøre ført ud skal du presse spolehovedet kraftigt mod underlaget, mens
maskinen kører. Snøren frigives automatisk af centrifugalkraften, og snøren afskæres til
den rigtige længde af klingen på snøredækslet.
