Safety!instructions!for!installation!

The!following!instructions!are!provided!for!the!sole!purpose!of!informing!

the!user!of!the!risks!related!to!improper!mounting!and!to!the!residual!

risks!not!fully!describable!and!related!to!the!assembly!activities!to!be!

carried!out!by!staff!possessing!the!required!technical!knowledge.!

The!installation!must!be!carried!out!by!carefully!following!

the!instructions!inside!the!box.!

The!system!must!be!installed!in!an!environment!safe!from!

frost!and!heat.!

Install!the!head!vertically,!with!cartridge!placed!

downwards.!Any!horizontal!installation!of!the!head!is!

allowed,!by!adding!an!adequate!support!to!the!cartridge!

(not!supplied)!to!avoid!excessive!stress!to!the!head!itself.!

Avoid!in!any!way!to!rest!load!and/or!traction!and/or!

transverse!stress!on!the!entry/exit!rapid!connection!

clutches!!of!the!pipes!and!head.!

The!pipes!with!rapid!connection!should!be!perfectly!

straight!close!to!the!entry/exit.!

Any!eventual!curvature!on!the!pipe!at!less!than!5!cm!from!

the!connection!might!cause!losses.!

The!pipes!must!be!cut!straight!and!be!free!from!burrs!

before!they!are!connected!to!the!fittings.!

The!pipes!should!not!be!subjected!to!crushing!or!exposed!

to!mechanical!hazards!or!risks!of!cutting.!

Do!not!connect!the!water!plug!valve!to!the!sanitary!hot!

water!plug.!

The!possible!installation!of!a!pressure!reducer!must!

It'is'recommended'to'get'organized'with'the'following'before'starting'the'

installation,'in'order'to'be'absolutely'sure'to'complete'it'safely'

Water!plug!valve!installation!

ONLY!joint!the!plug!valve!to!the!COLD!WATER!connection.!

The! supplied! flexible! pipes! must! be! cut! straight! and!

carefully!deburred!before!being!connected!to!the!fittings.!!

The! pipes! should! not! undego! crushings! or! be! exposed! to!

mechanical!hazards!or!cutting!risks.!

1. Turn'off'the'wall'cold' water'valve(16),'open'the'cold'water'tap'on'

the'sink'to'release'the'pressure.'

2. Disconnect'the'female'flexible'pipe'½”(20).'

3. Screw'the'extension'½”(19)'with'seal'on'the'½”'M(17)connection,'so'

that'the'¼'"'hole'(18)'is'accessible,'and'connect'the'½"'flexible'pipe'

after'the'extension.'

4. Carefully' pack' the' ¼' "' thread' (21)' of' the' water' plug' valve' with'

Teflon'tape'and'screw'it'into'the'¼"'hole'on'the'extension.'

5. Insert'the'wedge''nut'(23)'on'the'6mm'pipe;'insert'the'pipe'into'the'

valve' wedge' connection(24),' then' tighten' the' nut' with' a' 14mm'

allen'spanner.'

6. Do'not'cut'the'pipe'until'when'it’s'required'

7. Close'the'water'inlet'valve'(22)'(transverse'lever'to'pipe)'

8. Open'the'cold'water'valve'and'verify'the'absence'of'any'loss'from'

the'realized'joints.'

Tap!installation!

The! sink! should! have! a! thickness! of! less! than! 35mm.!

Otherwise,!contact!the!service!to!order!a!special!tap!with!

long!stem.'

1. Check' the' mounting' position' of' the' tap'by' placing' the' spacer' (2)'

with'o&ring'on'the'sink'and'mark'the'drilling'point.''

2. Drill'a'D.'12mm'hole'(1)'on'the'sink;'in'the'case'of'brittle'materials,'

a'pre&drilling'of'5&6'mm'is'recommended.'

3. Clean'the'sink'and'the'hole'from'burrs'and'debris'

4. Insert'the'tap'stem'(3)'with'spacer'(2)'and'o&ring'in'the'hole.'

5. On' the' underside,' insert' the' rubber' gasket' (4),' the' plastic' washer'

(5),'the'toothed'washer'(6)'and'tighten'the'nut'(7).'

6. Tighten'the'nut'with'14mm'allen'spanner.'

7. Insert' in' the' 6x4' pipe' (11)' the' nut' (10),' the' plastic' ogive' (9)' and,'

inside'the'pipe,'the'reinforcement'insert'(8).'

8. Tighten'the'nut'with'13mm'allen'spanner.'

9. Remove' the' timer' from' the' tap' slot' (see' instructions' for' battery'

replacement'at'page'6).'

Installation!of!the!wall!bracket!

Before'the'marking'and'the'final'assembly,'check'that'the'position'allows'

the'passing'of'the'hand'for'an'easy'disassembly'of'the'cartridge.'

1. Check'the' mounting'sense'more'convenient'for'the'installation,'to'

be'carried'out'by'orienting'the'entry'to'left'or'right'as'needed''

2. The'inlet'and'outlet'fittings'must'be'positioned'in'any'case'at'90'°'to'

the'bracket.'

3. With' the' supplied' screws(36)' mount' the' head(28)' on' the' wall'

support'by'tightening'the'screws.'

4. Identify'the'appropriate'place'on'the'wall'for'installation'of'the'wall'

bracket,'ensuring'there'is'enough'room'for'mounting'/'dismounting'

of'the'cartridge.'

5. Draw'with'a'pencil'the'holes'positions'(25)'on'the'wall'and'drill'with'

d.'8mm'bricks'drill;'' insert'the' wall'plugs' (34),'then'fix'the' bracket'

with'the'supplied'screws'(35).'

6. Joint' the'entry' and' exit'pipes'in' the'direction'shown'by'the' arrow'

on'the'head;'the'6mm'pipes'must'be'perpendicularly'cut'and'insert'

in'the'quick&connect'coupling'of'the'head'until'the'base.'

Positioning!and!replacement!of!the!cartridge!

(Procedure!to!be!followed!also!for!the!starting!of!the!kit)!

It!is!suggested!that!this!procedure!is!always!carried!out!

with!hand!hygiene!protection!through!the!use!of!

disposable!gloves!(procedure!to!be!followed!also!in!

making!up!the!kit).'

In!order!to!ensure!the!correct!conditions!of!use!and!

performance!of!the!system!described!as!guaranteed!Only!

use!ORIGINAL!SPARE!CARTRIDGES.!

_!Mod.!PRO:fine!SILVER!CARTRIDGE!

When!replacing!the!cartridge,!you!may!experience!a!small!

leak!or!dripping!water.!It!is!advisable!to!use!some!rags!or!a!

small!container!to!be!placed!under!the!cartridge.!

1. Turn' off' the' water' plug' valve' and' turn' on' the' tap' on' the' sink' to'

release'pressure'from'the'system.'

2. Rotate'90°'(1/4'spin)'towards'left'the'turn&off'cartridge,'and'remove'

it'by'pulling'it'down.'

3. Remove'the'protective'cap'from'the'new'cartridge.'

4. Record' the' date' of' installation' of' the' new' cartridge' in' the' proper'

space.'

5. Insert'the'new'cartridge'without'forcing'it'in'any'way,'making'sure'

to' fit' the' fins' in' their' proper' seats' in' the' head' and' rotate' it' 90°'

towards'right'until'the'block,'without'forcing.'

To'facilitate'the'fitting,'you'can'slightly'moisten'with'water'

or'cooking'oil'the'seals'on'the'cartridge.'

The'removed'cap'can'be'used'to'seal'the'turn&off'cartridge.'

6. Turn'on'the'water'plug'valve,'turn'on'the'tap'and'supply'water'for'

at'least'3'minutes'to'activate'the'new'cartridge'

Positioning!and!replacement!of!the!battery!

While' positioning' the' new' battery' pay' attention' to' the'

polarity,'as'shown'in'the'picture.'

AN!EVENTUAL!REVERSAL!OF!POLARITY!WILL!DETERMINE!A!

PREMATURE!EXHAUSTION.

1. Remove'the'timer'from'its'slot'on'the'knob,'taking'note'of'the'

exact'orientation'of'assembly.'

2. Insert'the'CR2032'battery'with'the'positive'pole'upward.'

3. The'BLUE'led'lights'for'first,'followed'by'RED'one,'indicating'the'

operation'time'reset''of'the'filter.'

4. Insert'the'complete''electronic''timer'in'the'tap’s'knob.'

Normal!use!

For' normal' use,' to' supply' water' turn' on' the' tap' by' putting' the' lever' in'

horizontal'position.'The'blue'led'indicator'flashes.'

To'turn'off'the'tap,'turn'the'lever'in'vertical'position.'

If,' with' turned' on' tap' the' red' led' flashes,' it’s' necessary' to' replace' the'

cartridge'and'the'battery,'and'so'resetting'the'operation'hours.'

With!flashing!red!led!!or!with!leds!off!during!supply,!there!

is!no!guarantee!for!the!!quality!of!filtered!water!and!use!of!

such!water!is!not!suggested.!

!Turning!off! Turning!on!

Extended!unuse!

-Before'any'extended'unuse,'it'is'recommended'to'turn'off'the'water'plug'

valve'and'release'the'pressure'from'the'system'by'turning'on'the'tap'for'3'

seconds.'

&In' case' of' unuse' of' the' equipment' for' more' than' 6' hours,' for' example'

during'the'night,'it’s'recommended'not'to'drink'water'supplied'in'the'first'

20'seconds.'

-If'the'inactivity'period'exceeds'2'days,'do'not'drink'water'supplied'in'the'

first'60'seconds,'just'letting'it'flow.'

&'The'disinfection'is'recommended'after'any'extended'unuse,'longer'than'

10'days'(page'7).'

Disposal!of!exhausted!cartridges!and!

batteries!

The'disposal'of'exhausted'materials'(cartridges,'batteries)'shall'be'borne'

by'the'user,'and'it'must'be'executed'according'to'the'law'dispositions.''

The'exhausted'cartridge'is'comparable'to'urban'solid'waste.''

COLLECTION'OF'ELECTRICAL'/'ELECTRONIC'WASTE'MATERIAL

According'to'article'no.'13'of'the'Legislative'Decree'of'25th'July'2005,'No.'

151'"Implementation'of'Directives'2002/95/CE,'2002/96/CE'and'

2003/108/CE,'concerning'the'reduction'of'hazardous'substances'in'

electrical'and'electronic'equipments,'further'to'the'waste'disposal'and'

Legislative'Decree'20th'November'2008,'No'188'Implementation'of'

Directive'2006/66/CE'concerning'batteries,'accumulators'and'relevant'

waste'and'repealing'Directive'91/157/CEE.'

The'crossed'rubbish'skip'symbol'as'shown'on'the'

equipment'or'on'its'packaging'indicates'that'the'product,'

at'the'end'of'its'life,'will'need'to'be'collected'separately'

from'other'waste.'The'user,'therefore,'will'have'to'confer'

the'equipment'OR'ITS'EXHAUSTED'COMPONENTS'to'the'

suitable'collection'centres'for'electronic'and'electrical'waste,'or'return'it'

to'the'dealer'when'purchasing'a'new'equipment'of'equivalent'type,'in'a'

1. Check'the'originality'of'the'cartridge.'

2. Make'sure'you'removed'the'safety'cap.'

3. Make'sure'you'correctly'fit'the'fixing'fins'

4. Lightly'grease'the'seals'on'the'cartridge'with'water'or'edible'oil.'

2_!Loss!of!water!after!replacing!the!cartridge!!

1. Remove' and' position' again' the' cartridge,' taking' care' to' insert' it'

correctly.'

2. After' having' lightly' lubricated' seals' on' the' cartridge,' remove' and'

position'it'again.'

3_There!is!no!supply!from!the!tap!or!the!supply!is!poor!

A)!If'this'comes'immediately'after'the'cartridge’s'replacement:'

1. Check' the' correct' positioning' of' the' cartridge,' eventually' by'

removing'and'repositioning'it.'

2. Make'sure'that'the'inlet'tap'in'completely'turned'on.'

3. Make'sure'that'the'flexible'pipes''aren’t'flattened'in'any'point.'

4. Make'sure'that'the'pipes'are'properly'connected'

1. Replace'the'CR2032'battery.'

2. CR2032'battery'inserted'incorrectly.'

3. Battery'installed'not'complying'with'standard'CR2032.'

5_Bright!red!led!signal!at!the!turning!on!of!the!tap!!

1. Replace'the'filter'cartridge'and'the'battery'simultaneously.'

System’s!disinfection!

The!operation!must!be!performed!by!qualified!personnel.!

The! described! steps! include! the! use! of! strong! oxidizing!

products,!so!it’s!necessary!to!proceed!with!due!caution,!by!

wearing!appropriate!protections!(gloves,!glasses!....)!!

Immediately!close,!carefully,!all!packages!of!the!chemicals!

2. If' carried' out' with' a' new' cartridge,' inject' approximately' 5cc'

Amuchina' in' the' cartridge,' both' in' the' alimentation' side' (SMALL'

CENTRAL' HOLE)' and' the' outlet' side' (SIDE' HOLES).' In' the' case' of'

used' cartridge' it' is' recommended' to' partially' unload' the' water'

contained'in'the'cartridge'after'removal.''

3. Install' the' cartridge' in' the' head' and' turn' on' again' the'water' plug'

valve.'

4. Supply'2'glasses'of'water,'then'turn'off'the'tap'and'wait'one'hour'

so'that'the'solution'can'act'on'the'system’s'components.'

5. Turn' on' the' tap' and' supply' water' for' 5' minutes' in' order' to' rinse'

completely'the'disinfectant'from'the'system.'!
